Listen Again to The Voluntary Sector with HVA

Would you like a second chance to hear the latest episode of "The Voluntary Sector with HVA" on Halton Community Radio?

This episode (initially broadcast on Thursday 28th January) included interviews with Ann McCraken (o2), Mary O’Conner (People Making Theatre) and Mike Metcalf (a fundraiser for Cancer Research UK) who joined us live from The Alps!

David Parr (CEO of Halton Borough Council) and Richard Caulfield (CEO of Voluntary Sector North West) outlined the main challenges facing Halton and the North West and offered their thoughts on what impact the current economic crisis will have on the voluntary sector. Both of their presentations were originally broadcast at HVA's AGM.

The show also featured a report from the superb vinvolved Ultra Violet Awards Night which includes the thoughts of Lee & Ceri (vinvolved), Peter Shimwell & Chris Hindley (Youth Federation), Derek Twigg (Halton MP) and Stew Holmes (Platform 2 and Halton's Youth Action Team).

Finally, Lee Goodier (HVA – vinvolved) updated us with “Voluntary Opportunity of the Week”.
