Halton Havens Hospice’s Twilight Walk
Saturday, 3rd July 2010 FROM 7:00PM
Halton Haven Hospice are inviting all to join in the fun at the Twilight Walk, which returns for its second year and this year proves to be bigger and better than the last.
With the walk increasing from last years 8K to 10K this year the walk will be lots of fun and you’ll be raising much needed funds for the Charity.
Celebrity guests Mario and Lisa from Big Brother and Snelly from BBC Merseyside will be in attendance, along with the cheerleaders from Everton Football club, who will also be there on the night.
The walk will start this year from key sponsor Halton Stobart Stadium in Widnes. From there walkers will cross the Runcorn-Widnes Bridge – and then back to the stadium for refreshments.
The Hospice is a registered charity and receives only limited funding – relying almost entirely on the generosity of the local community and businesses, and monies raised by events such as the Twilight Walk to provide much-needed
specialist care for local people who have life-limiting illnesses.
Walkers must enter individually, and the cost is £15.00. Once registered you can walk with a group of friends, family colleagues, or walk with friends you meet on the night.
If you would like to register for the walk, entrance forms can be sent to you by calling 0151 495 2111 and leaving your name and address with a member of the events team. If you have any queries please call the Fundraising Office on 0151 495 2111 or email either Ciaran@haltonhaven.co.uk or Amy@haltonhaven.co.uk.
We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday 3rd July for what’s set to be a fantastic event.
