The name "Waiting for the Great Leap Forwards" is an homage to the Billy Bragg song, in which Billy asserts that people should get out in their community and make a difference.

HVA provides support to the hundreds of Voluntary groups in Halton who are determined to improve the lives of people in Runcorn & Widnes.
