The Return of "My Halton"

Dear Colleague

We’re holding another “My Halton” event on Friday 29 October 2010 and we’d love to repeat the success of last year.

The aims of the event are:

- To showcase the work of the Halton Strategic Partnership and the organisations who are part of it
- To consult local people about the new Sustainable Community Strategy and other key consultations which are taking place

The focus is very much on what the key organisations in Halton are providing to members of the public, so the aim is very much on services people use and how Halton Strategic Partnership has made a difference for them in Halton.

As previously, there will be a mix of information and fun activities for all ages and we’re looking to have five zones, based on the five areas:
Healthy Halton
Urban renewal
Children & young people
Employment, learning & skills
Safer Halton

Would you be interested in having a stand on the day?

Do you have an outreach vehicle or service which you’d like to use on the day?

Would anyone be interested in helping to organise some of the various elements of the event?

The event will take place from 12pm until 5pm on Friday 29 October 2010. Much as the event will be centred at Stobart Stadium, with some outreach planned around the borough.

If you’d like to be involved (either as an information stand or outreach), please can you email me before Wednesday 1 September 2010?

You’ll be kept informed about the event and please help spread the word – the more the merrier!

Regards,

Alan
